This week, I would like you to tell me about an interesting, surprising, embarrassing, funny, or scary experience you have had this past year. It can be an experience you had before or after coming to America.
Use as many details as you can, so that the other students in class and clearly "see" your experience by reading your words.

ReplyDeleteMy embarrassing experience happened three years ago at the biggest mall in Riyadh. At that time, I was walking with my mother in the mall, so we were of course talking together. Then suddenly, I spilled a lady’s coffee cup with my handbag. I stopped immediately and apologized to her. After that, we went to a store to by some clothes for my mother. I noticed that there was a nice pants ^_* , so I ran to take it , but I resend because there was another woman who look at my hands which were holding the pants! Also, when I saw to her face, I shocked because she was the same woman that I poured her coffee over! :(
In fact, I acted as a fictional drama, so I had to give her my pants or take her permission!! She mumbled “ emmm I don’t “ . I sighed and went quickly to pay. As soon as we finished, my mother told me that we want to go home, and I agreed with her. While we were walking to leave the mall, I observed there is a fantastic watch in front of FINDI store. I walked fast toward the store and talked to my mother whom was behind me. Then easily I Bumped the Glassy door, and I was seen by all the people. I think that the door hurt my feeling not my body!! :(
Most of the names for land sittings in Montana and elswhere in the US is extracted from their original native American names or Europian geograhic intities. For instance in other parts of the world notably the Arabian Pennunsuila the Arab nomads descibed their local landscape in their own wordings similarly.
ReplyDeleteHowever when the erlier American explorers arrived to this particular part of the world to dig for oil their essencially mapping activities were supported by those nomads who gave them the ability to access the Embty quarter . The Embty quarter nevertheless is a desert area one could percieve quite obviously when flying over the area . It is indeed huge , frightining and without any land marks that would lead to any sort of rational manover. Therefore one would ask ; how would these nomads founded their way in this long-lost land which dominant with lonesome ?.
After the Second Gulf war and libaration of Kuwait I visited the cheif of Al Murra tribe in Embty Quarter and asked him how they would find their way in this forfeiture desert ? . The man response began by given the history of his tribe and their diffusion over the desert from north to south and how they gained this amazing geographic knoweldge.
In consequence with what the chief had said I might conclude that the camel has gave them ubnormal sense of what they already have by now. This particular animal been known as the desert ship has an amazing sense of bearing , water, and rain, hence, it was behind this human astonishing ability !.

ReplyDeleteI miss you guys so much because I couldn't go classes for two days as I caught a cold,,but I'm getting better now.

My experience which made me be embarrassed is the day when I was taking a train to go back my home.
My house is so far from my university. It takes about two hours to go university by train, and when I go home, a train is always crowded. There are no seat to sit, so I must stand. Most of passengers get off before I arrived a station whose name is Honjo which is my hometown. I can take seat just for twenty minutes.
One day I was heading Honjo after the practice of basketball. I was so tired, sleepy and wanted to sit, but I have to stand like always. However, that day was lucky so I could take seat earlier than usual. As soon as I sat, I fell in sleep and saw a dream I was playing basketball game. I think I was doing image training, haha =) At that time, something happened,,,,I throw my phone as I was sleeping as a basketball,,I had taken a short time to understand what happened.Then,I pretended to not be awake because I knew all of passengers looked at me with cold smile. I felt my body and face were getting hot,,at the moment someone put phone on my hands silently, I said "Thank you." in my mind because I couldn't look at her or him.
Did anyone experience something like mine?

When I was junior high school student, I was running to catch my friend in the gym. It was a play whose name is tag. Do you know this play? So, I followed my friend as I was running with my maximum speed. Then, my friend went out gym and close the door.
What would I do ?
Yes! I crushed the door and went out through it! haha

ReplyDeleteI have such kind of experince but more frightining. I kew that you lossed faces when you wake up and founded your cell phone was dropped down which made you pretending sleepy. I think this is the only way to sweeped out the passengers eyses.
I lived in London for more than two years and kept using the undergroud trains all my study time. I remeber once when I got back home from an area where the rout tooks the Piccadilly line along with other deep routes. I remember that teryfing experince when we stoped in one of these tunnels for more than 20 minutes. I rememberd all passengers were at looking each other with fear.

Why did that train stop at tunnel for more than twenty minutes?
A train sometimes stops suddenly and delay because of accident or trouble. It makes me annoy especially in the morning and midnight,,=(

ReplyDeleteI have a scary story. It happened 2years ago. One day, I was drawing a picture at night. I concentrated on drawing. When I looked up clock, it was after 2 am, so I decided to going to bed. I lied on the bed but I couldn’t sleep. Suddenly, I heard cry of a kitten, and this sound was approaching me. When I heard this sound clearly, I realized that sound is not cry of a kitten. It is a sound of a child’s laughter!!! I was surprised that a child was waking up after 2 am. This child was running and laughing in my house’s balcony but I don’t care, so I tried to sleep, but I couldn’t sleep, because of noise, so I decided to go to balcony, THEN I remember that here is 3rd floor!!! Nobody lives in 3rd floor with out our family, and we haven’t a child but a child was running my house’s balcony!!! Actually, I didn’t see him/her. I didn’t want to see a child, so I tried to close my curtain with close my eyes. After I closed my curtain, I went to bed quickly. Hastily, the sound became bigger and bigger. I was soo scary. I tried to don’t listen the sound but I couldn’t stop thinking. The end, somehow I coud sleep. haha I still don’t understand what was that.

ReplyDeleteI'm sorry that you had such a bad day. But you know, Bumped the door is not bad because I did many time! haha When I bumped the door, I always said ”Good job cleaner!” You know what I mean? I couldn't see a door because cleaner cleaned a door like limpidity. lol How positive I am! haha

Hello everybody. It's me Gui, talking again about my life, i think you are tired to listen my life's experience, but i'll tell a secret, a like to share with other people my history.
ReplyDeleteIn January i had a funny situation with one of my friends, she tried to help me to find a girlfriend because i'm single. She came to me talked about one her friends who are single too and she wanted to get a blind date with her friend. I sad ok, this would be nice, let's go, i asked for her name and what she looked like, my friend told me that's was a surprise, she sad that grill was perfect to me. My friend does the same thing with her friend. She marked a date in a restaurant.
At that day i dressed my better clothes and went to the restaurant, her boyfriend, her friend and she has been waiting me in the restaurant, when i saw her friend i started to laught, and her friend started too. Believe it, she was one of my ex girlfriend, that was so hilarious because my friend didn't know that we were lovers. After that we got dinner together and at the final of the dinner my friend apologized for the mistake and i went to home laughing.
This is a hilarious situation that i passed in this year, i assume that you enjoy the fact.
