Blog 1 Question: "Who are you?"

Hello WG5 students!

For your first blog entry, I would like you to write one or two paragraphs about yourself. You can write about any of the following (or your own ideas): Your country, family, hobbies, what makes you happy or sad, future goals, favorite kind of music/movies/food, favorite actor/singer/sport etc. You can also write about what you hope to learn in this class. 

Finally, after you post your writing, please comment on 1 other students' writing. When you comment, please keep your opinions professional and academic. Also, please write 4-5 sentences for full credit.

    Hello Everybody.

    My name is Guilherme Danna dos Santos, but, my new nick name in USA is Gui, because is easy to say. I from Brazil, the city that i'm living is Londrina, localizated in south of Brazil. I am Lawyer for three years and i love my job, the only thing that i don't like is my job journey, i start to work at 8:oo am and finish my job at 8:00/9:00 pm monday to friday, i don't work in the weekends to not have more stressfull problens that i have. My law speciality is Tax and International Trade Law, for this reason i am studing english at ELI, i need learn made contracts for my clients.

    I have a lots of hobbies, my principal hobby are drinking beers in the weekend with my friends, my others hobbues incluin shooting, scale models building, play bass and more activites wich i describe here my post are gonna be more bigger then de Holy Bible.

    I like too much music, my favorites is Rocky and Roll and American Country, my favorite singer is Johnny Cash and the favorite music of him is "Solitary Man" because this song tells my life's history.

    I'm tottaly single, i have not someone wainting me in Brazil, my life briefing in one word: Work. My life's goal are getting rich, marry, retire, and move to USA until 35 years old.

    My name is Yunako Agena. My nick name is Yuna, so call me Yuna! I'm 19 years old. I'm from Okinawa, Japan. I have a little brother. My family lives in Japan. Recently, I am homesick! lol I miss my family and friends, so I really want to go back Japan! haha My hobbies.. I like draw something and eat food!! I would like to eat different country's food so please cook for me :D haha

    I like listen to music!! I love R&B and HIPHOP. My favorite singer is Christina Aguilera, but also I really like listen to black people's voice so I usually listen to black music :D When you find good music, please let me know!!

    I like beer.. maybe♪ so let drink together when I become 21! haha I heard about Missoula's beer from my japanese friends. Have you ever tried it? "I DON'T KNOW" but my friends said that it is a really good taste! If you haven't tried Missoula's beer, you should try ASAP!! haha~

    WHO IS Nada ?

    I am going to write about my self . my name is Nada Ibrahim and I'm from Riyadh which is the capital of Saudi Arabia . In addition , I'm 25 years old and I'm married . I study with my great husband here at ELI . I have four sisters the oldest one is A teacher . Then , the other one is a dermatologist doctor . the other one is a medicine doctor and the least one is a student . In fact , I love my family so much especially my parents , so I couldn't adjust to live here , when I came here . furthermore , I like shopping , watching movies , explanation my culture , riding bikes and eating chocolate , but I heat cooking . Now , I think you can recognize me more than before .

    I have a lot of dreams that I try to touch it , and I believe that I can really achieve all my ambitions if I have real vision . One of my future goals is getting master degree in the computer science .


    In this class , I want to learn more and more and more about English by a fun way .

    The Missoula's Beer is very good. The taste is unique!

    Of course that i wait you get 21 years, then we can enjoy together and get a big party.

    Don't worry about homesick you gotta a lot of friends here to make you company.

    It's not common for me one Japonese Girl who listen Hip Hop, is a very nice kind of music. Do you like Rock and Roll? If you like i can give you a lots of recommendation of bands.

    I like sports very much, especially basketball!!
    im member of four basketball club, and in one of these club, im coach.
    i can play any sports as a fun. If u play some sports, pleaz invite me =)

    I will go back Japan on December,, so, i have just 7months when i can have a fun with u.
    Make a lot of happy memories and enjoy together , pleaz=)

    Saleh life story

    My name is Saleh and my country of origin is Saudi Arabia . I finished high school in Kuwait where my father live and work for living then I moved to Riyadh the capital of Saudi Arabia and graduate from King Saud university . However I worked for sometimes in the government as civil servant whereby the governmnet gave me a scholarship to study Space imaging in Imperial college in London. My hobbies started from my profession as a photographer in addition I am a painter a fan for country and Blues music.

    Recently, I am interested in Saudi Arabia! Saudi Arabia is one of countries i want to visit! I am learning Arabic but it is really hard to speak and write! Please teach me :D

    I wonder about that you are painter!! My major was design when I was high school student, so I learned painting!! but I am not good at painting! haha I just like drawing★ I want to see your paints!!

    Couldn't you play tennis well at that time?
    For me, yesterday I planed to play tennis with my friend, but I couldn't do that because the gym was already closed,,I don't have racket, so I had to borrow a racket from gym. So, I played basketball!! haha

    I hope you enjoy your weeknd . I am realy interested to visit Jaban it is realy a great country but quite expensive . I like mostly in Jaban your values in work and family and how women lokes at her husband . In Saudi Arabia we need to learn from your country as well as other countries how to advance our society in a socioeconomic sense. For this reason I will teach you Arabic in the way that you will not forget eventually your English and Jabanees languages all together !!.
